   this book is very thorough and covers all apects of the building trade and is ideal for those wanting to further their knowledge of the industry and it workings. A must for any one interested in Construction.

   This is one of my favourite building books, full of useful data and easy to read. Working in design then do yourself a favour and buy a copy

   Not recommended for serious construction students. Many outdated constructional details retained through numerous publishers’ revisions therefore of little use in serious site work.

   I bought this book as a study reference. It is very helpful and easy to understand. It lightly covers everything within construction from planning to completion

   Maybe not as colourful and glittzy as other publications, but very clear information.
   
   Well laid out and an excellent reference for site, office or college!
   
   Should be a standard base line publication for all persons undertaking a career in Construction.
   
   Seen all the updates throughout the past 10 years, always good, only down side is lack of Scottish Building Techniques and terminology?
